SINGAPORE (March 14): Job seekers in Singapore can expect to benefit from a generally modest hiring pace from April to June this year.  

According to the latest ManpowerGroup Employment Outlook Survey results from ManpowerGroup Singapore, 13% of the 700 employers surveyed forecast an increase in staffing levels in 2Q17. While 81% are not expecting any changes to their staff headcount, only 5% are anticipating a decrease.

This brings the net employment outlook, a figure derived by taking the percentage of employers anticipating total employment to increase and subtracting from this the percentage expecting to see a decrease in employment in the next quarter, to +8% after adjustments are made to factor in seasonal variation.
