SINGAPORE (Dec 14): Singapore state investment copany GIC led a $200 million Series E round of equity funding by Affirm.

Based in San Francisco, Affirm is a financial services provider which was started by co-founder of PayPal Max Levchin.

GIC says as long-term investor and partner, Affirm can focus on strengthening its offering in the fast-moving consumer finance space.
