SINGAPORE (May 9): United Overseas Bank (UOB) is offering its cloud-based integrated business solution, BizSmart, to business owners under U SME, an NTUC initiative, as part of its collaboration with NTUC to help small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) increase their productivity.

In a joint press release issued Wednesday by UOB and NTUC U SME, the two entities say UOB BizSmart will help SME businesses to automate their administrative processes and potentially reduce time spent on administrative work to just 2.5 days instead of four.

With the automation of processes such as payroll, invoicing and inventory management, SMEs can therefore free up their resources to focus on other parts of their business, they add.
