SINGAPORE (Jan 2): Fidelity International, the fund management services provider formerly known as Fidelity Worldwide Investment, says its wholly foreign-owned enterprise (WFOE) in Shanghai has launched two new funds to further diversify its product offering in China.

One product is the Fidelity China Equity No.1 Private Fund, which will primarily invest in China’s A-share market. It will be managed by Shanghai-based specialist Lynda Zhou, and represents Fidelity’s first onshore equity fund in China.

The other fund, Fidelity China Bond Opportunity No. 1 Private Fund, is the group’s second fixed-income fund. It aims to achieve income and capital appreciation, and will be managed by Freddy Wong, who is also the portfolio manager of Fidelity’s first onshore Chinese fund launched in May 2017.
