SINGAPORE (Feb 6): Yamada Green expects to report a net loss for 2Q17 and 1H17, mainly due to a decline in profit of its cultivation business, particularly shiitake mushroom business of which the cultivation of shiitake mushroom was impacted by typhoons and warmer weather during the period. Also, there were higher selling and distribution expenses incurred in the sales of processed food products for the domestic market. The stock is trading at 50 cents.

GS Holdings expects to report a loss for FY16, mainly attributable to higher manpower cost. More details will be available when the company releases its financials on or before 28-Feb-17. The stock is trading 1 cent lower at 28 cents.

Starland Holdings expects to report a net loss for 1H17, mainly attributable to professional expenses incurred for the ayondo acquisition. The company had announced on June 20 that it had entered into a conditional sale and purchase agreement with the holders of equity interest in ayondo Holding AG to acquire their equity interest. The stock is trading at 24 cents.
