SINGAPORE (Aug 25): Shares in Blumont, Thakral and Mary Chia surged this morning.

Shares in Blumont Group doubled to 0.2 cent this morning with 103 million shares exchanging hands, making it the top volume mover.

The surge follows Thursday announcement that Ultimate Horizon, a company owned by Malaysian businessman Siaw Lu Howe, has made a 0.0182 cent per share offer to take over the company.
