SINGAPORE (Feb 13): Hyflux announced Monday that wholly-owned subsidiary Hydrochem Saudi Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to develop three seawater reverse osmosis desalination plants in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The desalination plants are valued at a combined estimate of 687 million Saudi riyal ($260 million).

Hydrochem Saudi will design, build, supply, test and commission the three desalination plants, which will be located in Duba, Wajh and Haql, along the Red Sea coast in the western region of Saudi Arabia.
