SINGAPORE (Jan 17): Investors and central banks have to perform a delicate “balancing act” as financial markets are expected to be challenging this year, says VP Bank in its 2018 Investment Outlook.

However, markets are expected to remain upbeat during the first half of 2018 while the advanced stage of the market cycle will be characterised by heightened valuation levels across all asset classes.

According to Bernd Hartmann, Chief Strategist of VP Bank, investors should position their investment portfolio in three ways.
