SINGAPORE (June 28): Keppel Offshore & Marine announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, Keppel Shipyard has won four contracts for vessel conversion, repair and modification worth $85 million.

The first contract is from Dixstone Holdings for the conversion of the M/T Tempera into an FPSO, which involves the installation of topside process skids as well as a new accommodation module, among others. Expected to be completed in 3Q18, the FPSO will operate off the Republic of Congo, Africa.

The second contract was awarded by a new customer, MTC Engineering. Keppel Shipyard will carry out repair work for the life extension and conversion of an oil tanker into an FPSO, MTC Ledang.
