SINGAPORE (Nov 17): Growth in M&A deals in Asia-Pacific are expected to increase about 14% y-o-y in 1Q18, according to the Intralinks Deal Flow Predictor.

The Intralinks Deal Flow Predictor forecasts the number of future M&A deal announcements by tracking early-stage M&A activity – sell-side M&A transactions across the world that are in preparation or have begun their due diligence stage, which are about six months away from their public announcement.

According to the report, this growth is expected to be driven by the real estate, materials as well as consumer and retail sectors.
