SINGAPORE (Nov 1): Uni-Asia Group has established a new subsidiary – Fulgida Bulkship – to acquire a 29,256 dwt second hand bulk carrier vessel for US$13.5 million ($18.4 million).

The vessel will be purchased from Glory Bulkship, which is 45% owned by the group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Uni-Asia Holdings, and 55% owned by unrelated third parties.

The group acquired Panama-incorporated Fulgida Bulkship as a ship owning subsidiary, which has an authorised share capital of US$10,000.
