SINGAPORE (Feb 24): Yoma Strategic Holdings has entered into a strategic partnership with Metro Group Wholesale & Food Specialist Company to establish a one-stop food distribution platform in Myanmar through the formation of joint venture (JV) company, Metro Wholesale Myanmar.

Metro is a German-based international food retailer and wholesaler operating in 35 countries and employing more than 150,000 people around the world.

In a Friday filing to the SGX, Yoma says it will hold 15% stake in Metro Wholesale Myanmar, while Metro will hold the remaining 85%.
