Mahathir's Parti Pribumi free to function as political party: Muhyiddin

SINGAPORE (Apr 23): Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (PPBM) is now free to function as a political party ahead of Malaysia’s 14th general election (GE14) on May 9, says President Tan Sri Muhyiddin in a statement.

Malaysia’s former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad is the chairman of PPBM.

On April 6, PPBM was banned from campaigning for 30 days, as the party failed to meet a deadline to supply some information and documents by Mar 29.
