SINGAPORE (Sept 28): Mencast says the group is in early stage exploratory discussions with certain parties in relation to transaction which may involve the divestment of assets.

However, no definitive agreement or contract has been signed on this transaction, and there is no certainty or assurance as to whether the transaction will materialise.

The response follows an unusual price movements query by the Singapore Exchange after shares in Mencast rose 17.7% or 2.9 cents to close at 19.3 cents on volume of 2.1 million shares traded.
