SINGAPORE (June 15): Mermaid Maritime announced Thursday that its business units in Southeast Asia have recently won two subsea contracts from oil majors with a combined estimated potential value of US$4.3 million ($5.9 million).

The first is a 16-day lump sum project involving its DP2 Dive Support Vessel, “Mermaid Sapphire”, to perform subsea pipeline freespan rectification for a national upstream oil and gas company in the Gulf of Thailand.

The second is a 2-year contract carrying out site survey & navigation services offshore in East Kalimantan, Indonesia, for an international upstream oil and gas company.
