EY announced the establishment of the EY.ai Global Artificial Intelligence (AI) Advisory Council, aimed at providing the latest insights and guidance in AI technologies, in its release dated Nov 4.
The advisory council will support EY.ai, an AI platform launched in September 2023, and will act as a sounding board for the organisation as it manages AI deployment and technology advancement.
The advisory council will focus on directing AI development and deployment within EY, help EY professionals serve their clients’ transformations and work to address global challenges through innovative uses of AI.
The advisory council comprises of a diverse set of industry and civil society leaders, including AI-focused researchers, entrepreneurs, academics, ethicists and policy professionals.
Raj Sharma, global managing partner of growth and innovation at EY and EY.ai global AI advisory council chair, notes that “the astonishing pace of change being driven by AI demands that organisations proactively collaborate with a wide variety of AI leaders to stay ahead of the curve and shape their future with confidence.”
