Sats lands 14 new contracts with Air India

Sats Group (Sats) and its wholly-owned subsidiary Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) have been awarded cargo and ground handling contracts by Air India across multiple major airports in regions in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and North America.

Air India renewed 11 contracts and awarded 14 new contracts after a global tendering process, significantly expanding its partnership with Sats and WFS. The new cargo handling and ground handling stations span across North America, the UK, Europe as well as Asia. 

This includes but is not limited to stations such as Chicago and Washington Dulles in the US, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, and Birmingham in the UK. The stations also include Frankfurt and Milan in Europe and Kuala Lumpur and Hong Kong in Asia.

Shares in Sats closed 4 cents lower or 1.09% down at $3.62 on Jan 9.
