OCBC CEO’s salary up by 8% to $12.1 mil for FY2023

Helen Wong, the CEO of Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation (OCBC) has received an annual remuneration of $12.1 million for the FY2023 ended Dec 31, 2023. Wong’s salary, which includes bonus, deferred shares and other benefits, is 8% higher than her annual salary of $11.2 million for FY2022.

During the year, Wong’s basic salary remained unchanged at $1.4 million. Her bonus rose to $6.4 million from FY2022’s $5.4 million while deferred shares came in at $4.2 million from $3.6 million previously. Other benefits, however, fell to $69,892 compared to $782,244 last year.

For the FY2023, the bank reported a record net profit of $7.02 billion, 27% higher y-o-y.

As at 9.22am, shares in OCBC are trading 9 cents lower or 0.65% at $13.67.
