Catalist-listed FJ Benjamin has clinched the exclusive rights to distribute UK skincare brand, MZ Skin.
The products will be distributed in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia, revealed the fashion and lifestyle retailer in its May 31 release.
The distribution agreement will be for an initial two years. It will see MZ Skin products being sold on the retailer’s online platforms and in selected retail outlets.
MZ Skin was launched by London-based oculoplastic surgeon and aesthetic doctor, Dr Maryam Zamani, in 2016 after 15 years of clinical practice.
Zamani is popularly known as ‘the eye doctor’ because of her facial aesthetic skills.
Since its launch, the brand has garnered a global following that includes well-known personalities such as Serena Williams, Sonam Kapoor, Gwyneth Paltrow and Princess Charlene of Monaco.

The addition of MZ Skin is part of FJ Benjamin’s strategy to expand its skincare portfolio, says the group.
FJ Benjamin’s chief operating officer Douglas Benjamin says, “MZ Skin’s unique formulations – powered by active ingredients – are based as much on functionality as they are on beauty. We are excited to introduce this highly sought after, innovative and science-based skincare brand to our customers in Southeast Asia.”

“FJ Benjamin’s recent diversification into health and wellness has been progressing very smoothly and the plan is to continue to invest in this business particularly as Southeast Asian economies begin to recharge amid a return to normalcy from the Covid-19 pandemic,” he adds.
As at 1.44pm, shares in FJ Benjamin are trading flat at 2.2 cents.
