ISDN Holdings subsidary, Servo Dynamics, has entered into an exclusive agreement with Dafang AI to distribute Dafang’s advanced building surface finishing solutions in Singapore and Malaysia. The initial term of the agreement is three years, with an automatic renewal for another three years.

In conjunction with this partnership, ISDN has also entered into a robotics training agreement with Dafang through the ISDN Academy. The cooperation aims to provide users with comprehensive training programs for Dafang robots with the necessary certifications and skills development.

Dafang is a leading artificial intelligence company specialising in the design and production of intelligent robots for the construction industry. The company says its products are able to reduce labour costs by 50% to 80%, save material waste by 15% to 50%, and boost overall construction efficiency by 5 to 10 times.

Notably, Dafang’s products have received approval from the Housing and Development Board (HDB) for adoption in the domestic construction industry.

"We believe that this partnership with Dafang will be synergetic and value-adding to the group’s current portfolio of solutions. It will allow us to capture a larger pie of the overall industrial automation market in Asia and enhance our market presence. With our deep sector expertise and network, we are confident in marketing Dafang’s cutting-edge solutions as well as providing reliable after-sales support. We look forward to working with HDB as well as commercial players to drive the adoption of robots in the construction industry and boost," says Teo Cher Koon, ISDN managing director and president.

Shares in ISDN closed 1 cent higher or 3.33% up at 31 cents on Nov 1.
