SINGAPORE (Aug 2): ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove has now become the very first private marina in Singapore to operate a Customs, Immigration and Quarantine (CIQ) facility.
The new facility, which started operations on June 15, was officially launched by senior parliamentary secretary Sun Xue Ling on Friday morning.
Singapore-listed SUTL Enterprise is the developer and operator of ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove.
The CIQ facility offers an alternative immigration pointand has helped to ease traffic at the facility at Sisters’ Island especially during busy periods.
It will also facilitate boater movements between ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove and other upcoming yachting playgrounds around the region like the ones being built at Puteri Harbour and Nirup Island.
Teo Joo Leng, ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore’s general manager, says, “Being the only private marina in Singapore to offer this convenience not only adds to our appeal but also elevates our profile as a world-class marina destination. It will enable ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove Singapore to be the epicentre of all boating activity."
