Vehicle deliveries for electric vehicle maker NIO NIO Inc. rose 35.4% y-o-y to 21,181 vehicles for the month of September, according to an Oct 1 bourse filing.
The deliveries consisted of 20,349 vehicles from the group's premium smart electric vehicle brand NIO, and 832 vehicles from the group’s family-oriented smart electric vehicle brand ONVO.
The group also hit a quarterly record of 61,855 vehicle deliveries in the third quarter of 2024, up by 11.6% y-o-y. Cumulative deliveries stood at 598,875 as at Sept 30.
On Sept 19, the group launched ONVO’s first model, the L60, a mid-size family smart electric SUV.
According to the group, the L60 offers a spacious design with enhanced safety features and advanced technologies. Deliveries of the L60 commenced in late September.
The group adds: “The L60 leverages NIO’s accumulation in smart and electric technologies, smart manufacturing, power network and supply chains.”

Shares in NIO Inc. closed 2.9 US cents lower, or down 3.97%, at USD$7.01 on Oct 1.
