SMI Vantage has announced the arrival of its first containerised digital mining facilities that will be installed and immediately operational.
This follows an agreement it signed in December, which allows the company to start bitcoin mining in a new location in Sarawak, East Malaysia.
The arrival of the facilities provides SMI Vantage with the opportunity to ramp up its bitcoin mining operations, especially in the light of a resurgence of interest in the digital asset globally, says its president and CEO Mark Bedingham.
“We will look to add more facilities at this site, boosting both revenue and profitability,” he adds.
Shares in SMI Vantage closed 0.1 cent higher or 3.8% up on Feb 9 at 2.7 cents.
