ST Telemedia Global Data Centres has priced an additional $50 million sustainability-linked perpetual (SLP) securities due 2030 under the company’s $1.5 billion multicurrency debt issuance programme.
The latest issue of securities will be consolidated and form a single series with the existing $450 million sustainability-linked perpetual securities issued on Jan 15.
The series will bear a coupon of 5.7% per annum, payable semi-annually in arrears with a tenor of six years, with net proceeds to be used for the company’s general corporate purposes.
ST Telemedia Global Data Centres’ debut perpetual securities offering marked several firsts in the industry — it was the first Singapore dollar denominated SLP, the first public benchmark SLP in Asia, as well as the first public perpetual by a pure play data centre globally.
The securities are expected to be listed on the SGX-ST on or about Feb 1.
