The Straits Trading Company has launched the second series of its three-month commercial paper in digital securities on Jan 6.
The digital securities were launched under the SDAX CP facility programme and is only offered to accredited investors and institutional investors at an interest rate of 3.70% per annum. The papers will mature some three months from the date of issuance.
The company says it expects to raise between $5 million to $10 million from this series.
Shares in The Straits Trading Company closed flat at $1.44 on Jan 6.
