Thai Beverage Public Company (ThaiBev) unveiled its plans for the next five years through Passion 2025.
The new plan announced on October 1, builds upon ThaiBev’s success in implementing initiatives in line with its strategic imperatives – growth, diversity, brands, reach, and professionalism – under its Vision 2020.
Passion 2025 aims to grow the group’s business and service model, product offerings, and its channels, as well as strengthening its leadership positions in its core markets including Thailand, Vietnam, and Singapore.
The group also seeks to enhance shareholder value by building partnerships, asset value creation, and developing a world class workforce under the five-year roadmap.
“Working towards Vision 2020 over the past six years, we have successfully expanded our presence in Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, as well as Vietnam,” says ThaiBev’s president and CEO Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi.
“We have solidified our leadership position across key beverage segments in these markets and also become a leading food and beverage company in Southeast Asia. In addition, being named the DJSI World Leader in the beverage sector for consecutive years has earned us global recognition.”
“Having grown from being a local champion to a regional leader, it is time for the next stage of our transformation – becoming the pride of Asean,” he adds.
As at 9.02am, shares in ThaiBev are trading 0.5 cent higher or 0.8% up, at 61 cents.
