Jumbo Group has opened a new Tsui Wah outlet at Jewel Changi Airport on Sept 27. The new outlet follows the launch of the Tsui Wah outlet in JEM, Jurong East in May.
Tsui Wah, which was founded in 1967, has over 50 outlets in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore. Jumbo manages the Tsui Wah outlets in Singapore via Vista F&B Services, a joint venture between Tsui Wah and Jumbo.
The new outlet is located on the third floor at Jewel and has a maximum seating capacity of 123 seats for indoor dine-in.
With the current social distancing measures, the outlet has a maximum seating capacity of 88 seats.
The Tsui Wah outlet at The Heeren, which has been closed since December 2020, will be reopened in November.
Earlier on the same day, Jumbo and NYSE-listed SAP announced that they were collaborating to scale Jumbo’s digitalisation plans.

According to the statement by SAP, Jumbo has ramped up its digitalisation efforts in a bid to create a cross-border integrated system within the entire organisation and its key stakeholders’ ecosystem.
Shares in Jumbo closed 0.5 cent lower or 1.67% down at 29.5 cents on Sept 27.
