V3 Fintech, V3 Group’s unit that spearheads the development of digital and financial technology, has teamed up with local cybersecurity and fintech firms to build out a robust infrastructure for digital financial services.

V3 Fintech’s new partners include Temasek Global Cybersecurity platforms ISTARI International and Ensign Infosecurity, local robo-advisor platforms Auto-Wealth and peer-to-peer lender SeedIn.

With these strategic partnerships, the unit aims to continue building a regional digital financial services hub based in Singapore to serve SMEs and their workforce.

As part of the partnership, ISTARI and Ensign will support V3 Fintech in developing its cybersecurity strategy and function, including areas such as capability and technology development, testing and validation and operations as well as awareness training.

Through this partnership, V3 Fintech will be able to tap into the deep local and regional expertise of Ensign as well as the global intelligence network of ISTARI as it continues to forge a strong digital financial service ecosystem.

On the other hand, SeedIn Technology, which operates Brdge, a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platform specialising in Singapore SMEs, will collaborate with V3 Fintech to enhance the suite of liquidity solutions available to SMEs. Together with Brdge, V3 FinTech will also help create awareness among SME communities on innovative ways to address liquidity challenges and funding gaps.

As for AutoWealth, it will partner with V3 Fintech to introduce tools for needs analysis, cash management, investing and savings, to a wider community including employees of SMEs.

The partnership will also drive awareness among SME employers on how the financial well-being of their workforce can be enhanced through smarter savings and pension plans, which will also support talent attraction and retention.

To recap, V3 FinTech is also part of the Beyond consortium that is bidding for Singapore’s digital full bank license. The other Beyond members are contactless payments pioneer EZ-Link, leading property developer Far East Organization, Temasek subsidiary Heliconia, the Singapore Business Federation, and general insurer MSIG.

Gan Chee Yen, senior advisor of V3 FinTech says, “Beyond a business partnership, we share a deep commitment to elevating lives and livelihoods. With these partnerships, V3 FinTech will continue to build out a regional digital financial services hub based in Singapore to serve SMEs and their workforce in ASEAN and Asia.”
