US venture capital (VC) funding surpassed the US$100 billion ($134 billion) mark in the first 10 months of 2024, solidifying US’s dominance in the global VC landscape, a report by GlobalData reveals.
During this period, the US recorded US$117.2 billion worth of VC funding deal announcements, reflecting a 17% y-o-y growth compared to the same period in 2023.
In the first 10 months of 2024, the US accounted for 29.3% of the total number of VC deals announced globally, while its share in terms of corresponding funding value stood at 53.5%.
