Digital healthcare provider WhiteCoat Global has announced that it will be acquiring telemedicine platform Good Doctor Indonesia (Good Doctor).

In its announcement dated Oct 11, WhiteCoat stated that it has also secured a fresh round of funding led by Raffles Family Office (RFO). With the acquisition of Good Doctor, WhiteCoat will also welcome new investors MDI Ventures and The Softbank Vision Fund.

WhiteCoat is a Singapore-headquartered omnichannel provider of integrated health and wellness services while Good Doctor is a technology-based integrated health service provider.

This is the biggest merger & acquisition (M&A) involving two telehealth companies in Southeast Asia, WhiteCoat states, offering a variety of online and in-person health and wellness solutions across the region.

Bryan Koh, Founder and CEO of WhiteCoat, notes that “This move not only strengthens our market presence in the largest economy in Southeast Asia but also underscores our commitment to deliver innovative, technology-driven care, and work towards enhancing healthcare access beyond insured members to the broader population of over 650 million people across Southeast Asia.”
