On Nov 29, ESR Group announced that it has commenced a C-REIT offering on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. In June this year, the Shanghai Stock Exchange issued a no objection letter in respect of the proposed listing of the REIT on the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the China Securities Regulatory Commission (better known as CSRC) approved the registration of the REIT.
On Nov 28, Reuters reported that a consortium including Starwood Capital Group and Warburg Pincus aims to finalise a deal to take ESR Group private valuing the company at US$7 billion.
