Singapore Technologies Engineering (ST Engineering) has announced the appointment of Lim Serh Ghee as their new Chief Operating Officer, and Jeffery Lam as their new President (Aerospace).
ST Engineering said as COO, Lim will drive operational and cost efficiencies across the Group, and promoting further integration of the Group's business sectors. He will also oversee IT, Procurement and Estate & Facilities Management functions.
Lim joined ST Aerospace in April 1984, and had held various senior management appointments over the years, including President (Aerospace) before this new role.
To replace Lim, ST Engineering appointed Lam to take over as President (Aerospace), with the responsibility of the business and operations of the Aerospace sector.
Lam joined the Aerospace sector in 2011 and served in various roles within the sector, rising to Deputy President in July 2018.
He played a critical role in overseeing operations within the group of companies in the Aerospace sector, with a special focus on continuous improvement and digitisation initiatives.
Shares of ST Engineering closed at $3.27, up 5 cents or 1.55% higher from its previous close of $3.22.
