Bank of Singapore (BoS) has appointed Ronnie Cheung as the chief operating officer (COO) of its Greater China, Hong Kong branch. Cheung comes with over 20 years of industry experience and was most recently the Hong Kong COO of Credit Suisse.

She will join BoS effectively on March 19.

Cheung is based in Hong Kong and will report to Cindy Wong, CEO of BoS’s Hong Kong branch. She will also functionally report to Jacky Ang, BoS’s global COO.

In her new role, Cheung will oversee the governance and operations of the bank’s Hong Kong branch. She will also spearhead the bank’s transformation efforts and execution of key strategic initiatives in the region.
