CapitaLand Investment (CLI) has appointed Simon Treacy as CEO of private equity real estate, effective Oct 27.
According to a filing on SGX, Treacy will be responsible for driving the assets under management and funds under management growth for the company's private equity real estate business.
Treacy comes with over 23 years of experience in real estate across North America, Asia and Europe.

He was previously the managing director, global chief investment officer and head of US equity for BlackRock Real Estate, responsible for the overall investment strategy and performance of global real estate portfolios.
The company says Treacy will be a key member of the senior leadership team responsible for managing and executing the company's growth strategies which span across multiple real estate asset classes.
Shares in CLI closed 2 cents lower or 0.58% down at $3.4 on Oct 26.
