Cordlife Group P8A has announced the appointment of Yiu Pang Fai as group CEO with effect from Feb 19.
He will take over from Tan Poh Lan, who announced her resignation as executive director and CEO on Oct 27 last year. Tan will work with Yiu to facilitate the smooth transition of the company’s leadership and her last day of service will be March 31.
According to Cordlife, Yiu has a strong background in finance and investment management and has been instrumental in evaluating investment opportunities, managing portfolio assets, and driving strategic growth initiatives.
Prior to his new appointment, Yiu served as the executive director of TransGlobal Group's family office division in Hong Kong. TransGlobal Group specialises in real estate development and operation, and infrastructure construction and operation in Hong Kong and Mainland China.
Additionally, he held executive positions at Popular Holdings Limited, Sichuan Chengmian Expressway, and Hebei Shitai Expressway.
Before joining TransGlobal Group, Yiu served as an investment manager at Macquarie Infrastructure and Real Assets in Singapore, where he played a pivotal role in the Asia Pacific investment team.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a focus on finance and business economics from the University of Southern California.
Shares in Cordlife closed unchanged at 30 cents on Feb 19.
