Deloitte Southeast Asia, on March 16, announced that it will be appointing Eugene Ho as its next CEO.
Ho, who will succeed outgoing CEO Philip Yuen, is currently Deloitte Southeast Asia’s regional managing director for consulting as well as its chief strategy & innovation officer.
He will assume his new role on June 1, which is the start of Deloitte’s fiscal year 2024.
The appointment is said to be part of a rigorous and comprehensive succession and nomination process, which was overseen by the Deloitte Southeast Asia Board. Ho comes with over 28 years of management consulting experience, including the last 18 years as a partner in Deloitte.
His key focus areas include large-scale business transformation programmes across various sectors in Asia Pacific and in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Japan and India.

Yuen, who is also the chairman of Deloitte Singapore, has been with Deloitte for over 38 years after beginning his career with the firm in the UK. He was appointed as Deloitte Southeast Asia’s CEO in 2016 and would have completed two terms in the role on May 31.
