Singapore Airlines (SIA) has announced the appointment of Yeoh Oon Jin as an independent and non-executive director with effect from August 1.
He will also join the board audit committee
Yeoh, 60, was previously executive chairman of PwC Singapore. He has been with PwC for more than 30 years, including 15 years as a key member of its leadership team.

Yeoh retired from his role as executive chairman on June 30. On July 1, he joined the board of Singapore Exchange (SGX) as an independent director.
He also currently serves as chairman of the Singapore Land Authority.
Shares in SIA closed up 2 cents or 0.4% higher at $5 on July 5.
