Frasers Property TQ5 has appointed Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi as the chairman of its board executive committee (Exco). He will be replacing current Exco chairman Charoen, who will be retiring with effect from Aug 30.
Charoen will remain as chairman of the board.
Thapana, who is also the CEO of fellow Singapore Exchange (SGX)-listed group Thai Beverage (ThaiBev), will assume the position of Frasers Property’s Exco chairman on the same day.
Rodney Vaughan Fehring, CEO of Frasers Property Australia, will also be co-opted as a member of the Exco.
Following the changes, Frasers Property’s Exco now comprises the following members:
- Thapana Sirivadhanabhakdi (chairman, non-executive and non-independent director)
- Pramoad Phornprapha (non-executive and independent director)
- Wee Joo Yeow (non-executive and independent director)
- Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi (group CEO, executive and non-independent director)
- Sithichai Chaikriangkrai (non-executive and non-independent director)
- Rodney Vaughan Fehring (co-opted member)

As at 12.32pm, shares in Frasers Property are trading 1 cent lower or 1.30% down at 76 cents.
