“We are delighted to welcome another dedicated resource to our Private Capital Group team in Asia – Jonathan Gan. He is based in Singapore and is responsible for strengthening our presence and intensifying our segment coverage in the fast-growing Family Office hub in South Asia,” says Citi.

Gan is a career investment banker with over 16 years of deal experience spanning across the US, Hong Kong, and most recently South East Asia. He has extensive experience across several investment banking products including equity and debt capital markets, mergers & acquisitions, leveraged acquisition financing, pre-IPO/mezzanine fund raising and syndicated loans.

Over the last ten years at HSBC’s corporate bank, Gan built a unique client coverage model which leveraged his extensive origination and execution knowledge of advisory and capital raising transactions across the South East Asia region

Gan earned his Bachelor of Science in finance from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He is married with two children.

Gan will be reporting to Citi Private Capital Group Asia Pacific Head Bernie Wai and Citi Private Bank Chairman & South Asia Head Lee Lung-Nien.
