Maybank Singapore has appointed Alice Tan Siew Hwee as its head of group wealth management. Tan will step into the role from Aug 1 onwards. She will also continue in her current role as the head of wealth management, Singapore. Tan will report to both the group CEO of community financial services and the CEO of Maybank Singapore.
As the head of Maybank’s group wealth management business, Tan will oversee the bank’s global privilege wealth, premier wealth, private wealth and Islamic wealth segments. She will establish the business’ overall strategic direction and provide leadership and effective management of the business to achieve and outperform its financial and non-financial objectives.
Tan will also be responsible for integrating Maybank Singapore’s regional strategy and creating and developing the bank’s wealth management business. Tan is also expected to establish and lead a global wealth management hub that supports the bank’s product development and expertise for wealth management.
Tan comes with over 27 years of experience in the financial sector, of which over 16 years were in private banking across all asset classes. She joined Maybank in 2014.
