Media company mm2 Asia 1B0 has appointed Cindy Tan Ching Yee, managing director, Apac for global clients with Meta, to the group’s board of directors. The board has also appointed Tan to serve on its audit committee and as the chairman of its remuneration committee.
Tan’s appointment comes alongside newly appointed directors Peter Lai Hock Meng, Tan Khee Giap and Choo Kee Siong on the mm2 Asia board of directors. They are set to serve under executive chairman Melvin Ang and non-executive director Jack Chia Seng Hee.
In her current position as managing director, the group says Tan has led the group’s Apac team which focuses on managing Meta’s largest clients and “elevating their business successes through Meta’s portfolio of innovation solutions”.
Prior to joining mm2 Asia, Tan has held various management positions with international, publicly traded media and consumer travel firms, including the role of chief commercial officer at INTO University Partnerships and served as global vice president of retail at TripAdvisor.
Tan holds a double executive master of business administration degree from the University of California, Los Angeles, and the National University of Singapore.
Melvin Ang, executive chairman of the board, says: “Cindy brings extensive C-level leadership experience with several global digital and media companies, as well as board-level experience in firms with an international footprint.”

Shares in mm2 Asia closed flat at 1.7 cents on Sept 26.
