The manager of Frasers Centrepoint Trust (FCT) has updated its portfolio tenants’ sales and shopper traffic for the month of August on FCT and AsiaRetail Fund Limited (ARF) on September 25.

The update follows the manager’s announcement on September 3 that it plans to acquire the 63.1% in PGIM AsiaRetail Fund (ARF) it does not own. ARF is currently held by Frasers Property Limited (FPL).

Portfolio tenants’ sales in August for FCT fell 2.2% y-o-y while shopper traffic for the same month was down at 36.4% y-o-y.

ARF’s portfolio tenants’ sales dipped 0.6% y-o-y for the month of August while shopper traffic fell by 38.6% y-o-y.

Units in FCT closed 3 cents lower or 1.2% down, at $2.53, on September 24.
