Keppel REIT has priced A$50 million ($43.7 million) worth of floating rate green notes (Series 008 notes) under its $1 billion multicurrency debt issuance programme on Nov 13.
The notes will be issued at an issue price of 100% of the principal amount and in denominations of A$250,000. The notes will pay interest on a quarterly basis and will bear interest at a floating rate based on the Bank Bill Swap reference rate plus an agreed spread.
The notes are expected to be issued on Nov 19 and will mature on Nov 19, 2027, unless previously redeemed or purchased and cancelled.
The proceeds from the issue of the notes will be used by the REIT’s trustee for refinancing projects that meet the eligibility criteria set out in Keppel REIT’s green financing framework.
Shares in Keppel REIT closed 1 cent higher or 1.15% up at 88 cents on Nov 12.
