Koh Wee Lih, the CEO of Keppel REIT’s manager will be stepping down from his role come Dec 31. As part of Keppel's rotation in leadership roles, Koh will be assuming a new role as managing director, business development at Keppel, says Keppel REIT in a bourse filing on Nov 1.

Koh became the CEO of Keppel REIT on Dec 1, 2021. He was AIMS APAC REIT before that.

Chua Hsien Yang will replace Koh as CEO from Jan 1, 2025 onwards. Chua joined Keppel in 2008 and has over 20 years of experience in the real estate fund management and hospitality industries, including in mergers and acquisitions, real estate investments, business development and asset management globally, says Keppel REIT’s release. 

He is currently the managing director and head for mergers and acquisitions (M&A) at Keppel, a role he held since February 2021. Before that, Chua was the CEO of Keppel DC REIT’s manager from 2014 when the REIT was listed, to 2021.

Before that, Chua was senior vice president at the manager of Keppel REIT, where he headed the investment team. 

“The board is pleased to welcome Hsien Yang back to the manager in his new leadership role. Hsien Yang brings to Keppel REIT his wealth of experience in real estate investment and asset management,” says Tan Swee Yiow, chairman of Keppel REIT’s manager. “We look forward to working with him and the management team to continue the development and execution of Keppel REIT's growth strategy.

“The board would also like to express its appreciation to Wee Lih for his contributions to Keppel REIT Management and wish him all the best in his new role,” he adds.

Units in Keppel REIT closed 0.5 cents lower or 0.56% down at 89.5 cents on Nov 1.
