Link REIT has appointed recently retired DBS senior executive Eng-Kwok Seat Moey as an independent, non-executive director.
Her appointment takes effect from Nov 14.
In September, Eng-Kwok was appointed an independent non-executive director of Mapletree Industrial Trust ME8U ME8U 's manager.
Prior to her retirement in March, Eng-Kwok was head of equity capital markets at DBS Group Holdings and is key to bringing many REITs to list on the Singapore Exchange S68 , earning her the monicker "Mother of the S-REITs".
Back in 2002, she was part of a team that brought CapitaMall Trust (now CapitaLand Integrated Commercial Trust C38U ) to list on the SGX, kicking start what would become a $100 billion sector.
During a results briefing on Nov 6, Link REIT announced a 3.7% y-o-y rise to 143.89 HK cents for the six months to Sept 30, the REIT's 1HFY2025.

Despite challenges faced by Link REIT's logistics properties in China, and The Cabot, its office building in London, its management reiterated that its Singapore suburban malls were a bright spot. Link REIT owns Jurong Point and Swing by @ Thomson Plaza.
Link REIT closed at HK$35.50 on Nov 14, compared to its net asset value of HK$66.80 per unit.
