SINGAPORE (Mar 9): The Singapore Exchange reported for the month of February all-time record for derivatives volume with 1.11 million lots daily as securities daily average value (SDAV) rose to six-month high, with higher trading activity in IT and real estate sectors.
   
In its monthly market statistics update for the month of Feb, total securities market turnover value was at $19.1 billion, down 12% m-o-m and down 42% y-o-y over 18 trading days compared to 22 trading days in January 2019 and 19 in February 2018.

SDAV reached $1.06 billion, up 8% m-o-m and down 39% y-o-y.

Market turnover value of Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) was $103 million, down 52% m-o-m and down 70% y-o-y.
