Digital investment platform Syfe announces that it has raised $36 million in a new funding round, bringing total funds raised to $105 million, according to a release dated Aug 14.
The all-equity funding round comes from two UK family offices with investments in fintech and banking sectors, alongside existing investors Valar Ventures and Unbound. Valar Ventures is the venture capital fund co-founded by billionaire venture capitalist and co-founder of Paypal, Peter Thiel.
Founder and CEO of Syfe, Dhruv Arora, says that the new round of funding will allow the platform to reach more customers. It will also let them work on “more innovative new products” to market, while upgrading the Syfe user experience.
The platform says that it has reached profitability in Singapore in early 2024, with average client assets more than doubling since 2023.
Prior to this, Syfe’s last funding round was a Series B raise of $40 million in 2021, also led by Valar Ventures.
Syfe was launched in 2019, and is licenced in Singapore, Hong Kong and Australia.
