Mainboard-listed Addvalue Technologies has, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Addvalue Innovation, introduced its latest state-of-the-art system, the ADRS1000 on Sept 2.
The ADRS1000 is an ultra-high performance re-configurable digital radio module on Sept 2. It is for high-end software-defined radio systems and is said to be able to boost the development and deployment of complex wireless systems that are going to be the mainstays across many industries in the 5G era and beyond.
The ADRS1000 is developed through Addvalue’s know-how in the development of RF modules and FPGA-SoC embedded systems for bespoke wireless applications in defence and other mission-critical industries.
According to Grand View Research, the global software-defined radio system market size is expected to reach US$39.6 billion ($53.26 billion) by 2027, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 8.7% from 2020 to 2027.

The system is said to be used in military modernisation projects as well as innovations in 5G technologies in satellite-based and terrestrial-based communication networks around the world.
Addvalue says it is “well-poised” to capitalise on the rapid growth with ADRS1000.
“The ADRS1000™ is the first Xilinx Zynq® UltraScale+™ RFSoC module of Addvalue. Together with the accompanying comprehensive support package, Addvalue can immediately help system owners shorten time to develop and deploy their complex systems as the ADRS1000™ is not only ruggedly designed to operate reliably in challenging environments, but also highly scalable and flexible for design amelioration or upgrade even after deployment,” says Dr Colin Cham Kum Lok, chairman and CEO of Addvalue.
“Addvalue expects to officially roll out the ADRS1000™ within the first quarter of 2022. As of now, we have already received strong interests from our partners for their system integration projects in 2022 during our pre launch,” he adds.
Shares in Addvalue closed flat at 1.1 cents on Sept 1.
