Branches of prosperity Make a statement this New Year with Tree of Blossoming Treasures ($98 nett, 1kg), a new creation available at Goodwood Park Hotel’s The Deli. This resplendent 28-cm tall “tree” of edible ingots is inspired by the elegant bonsai tree with a prosperous gilded touch, and is bound to become the talk of the table. The base, an oversized ingot, is made with vanilla pound cake. Fondant icing branches are used to cradle mini ingots made of chocolate.
