Baby-G and Hello Kitty celebrate their 25th and 45th anniversaries respectively by collaborating on the BGA-150KT

SINGAPORE (Feb 25): Casio’s Baby-G turns 25 this year, while Sanrio’s Hello Kitty marks its 45th year. To celebrate these milestones, the two brands have joined forces to come up with the limited-edition BGA-150KT, a beautiful watch whose design theme is the Hello Kitty pink quilt series, made popular in the 1990s when Baby-G made its debut with the BGA-150 model.

The timepiece has a dial with a quilt-stitch pattern and features flower-shaped metal components that evoke the Hello Kitty of the 1990s. The letter “B” — for Baby-G — is part of the flower at the 5 o’clock position, while Hello Kitty’s face is at the 9 o’clock position. The case back has an engraving of Hello Kitty adorned with a flower that features the letter “B”. The watch comes in a mini-bag with a pink quilt motif and there is also a stand for displaying the timepiece.

Velvety smooth

Prada has launched two fragrances: La Femme Prada Velvet and L’Homme Prada Velvet. The former is a floral fragrance with ylang ylang and vanilla while the latter is based on fougère, neroli, geranium and patchouli. The bottle design is inspired by Prada’s fall/ winter 2017 show, which features the retro prints of the 1970s.

Pen your thoughts

The digital age may be poised to take over the world, but diehard romantics still prefer to put their thoughts on paper. They will appreciate stationery maker Collins Debden's notebooks and diaries with premium paper and bound in leather. We recommend the Edge Rainbow A5-size notebook in black, deep grey, indigo, pink and yellow.

Enchanted

Tiffany & Co’s Enchant Flower Necklace was inspired by the scrolled iron gates and gardens of opulent estates. Adorned with beautiful diamonds, this piece has a whimsical floral motif.
